The walk, and when it opened
Diamond Bay Reserve is at Craig Ave, Vaucluse. Waverley Council’s page for the reserve describes a clifftop reserve, known for its clifftop walk.
Waverley Council’s page gives a date for the walk: the boardwalk opened in 2004, part of the coastal walkway project that marked the Centenary of Federation.
Where to join it
Arrival details come from the same page: on-street parking is limited, with a mobility parking bay on Craig Avenue, and the nearest toilets it lists are at Samuel Park, pointing to toiletmap.gov.au. No play equipment is listed for the reserve.
Rules on the walkway
On the walk, dogs are to be kept on a lead. On the reserve, the council marks an off-leash area, and its page points to the off-leash map for that area.
Both rules are set out by layer in Can you take a dog to Diamond Bay Reserve?
Waverley Council’s published record of the walk is short, which is why this guide is short: it keeps to what the reserve page sets down about the walk, its year, and its rules.
